This Privacy Policy explains how Nulvah Learning Hub (“Nulvah”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website and learning services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Nulvah, we may process:
- Account information: email address, password (stored by our authentication provider), certificate name, country, age group, and marketing preference.
- Checkout details: if you pay without creating an account first, the name and email you enter. We use them to create your account and send you a link to set your password.
- Affiliate information: if you join the affiliate programme, your name, email, referral activity and earnings. Payout details you give when requesting a payment are encrypted, used only to send that payment, and deleted once it is paid unless you choose to save them.
- Learning activity: course entitlements, lesson progress, module and final assessment results, practical confirmation, and related learning status.
- Payment and transaction information: purchase references, amounts, currency, course purchased, and payment status. Card details are processed by Paystack; Nulvah does not store full card numbers.
- Certificate information: credential ID, learner name as shown on the certificate, course title, issue date and verification status.
- Support communications: name, email, subject and message content you submit through Support.
- Technical and usage data: limited product analytics such as page views and course views, and standard technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. Why we process information
We process personal information to create and manage accounts, provide course access and assessments, process payments, issue and verify certificates, send service emails, send marketing only with opt-in, respond to support, improve the platform, and meet legal and security obligations.
3. Lawful bases
Where required by applicable law, we rely on bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests in securing and improving the platform, consent for optional marketing, and legal obligation where applicable.
4. Service providers
- Hosting, sign-in and application data: our cloud hosting and authentication providers
- Payments: Paystack
- Email delivery: Resend
- Analytics: Google Analytics where enabled
These providers process data to help us run Nulvah. They are not given learner data for their own unrelated marketing.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions, basic site function and analytics where configured. Browser settings can control cookies; disabling some may affect sign-in.
6. Marketing and service messages
Service and account emails (welcome, account set-up, password recovery, purchases, certificates, affiliate earnings, support) are part of operating your account. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in. You can change preferences in your profile or use the unsubscribe link in marketing messages.
7. Public certificate verification
Public verification shows learner name as on the certificate, course title, issue date, credential ID and status, with Nulvah branding. Account email and private profile fields are not published on the verification page.
8. Data security
We use HTTPS, access controls and server-side secrets management appropriate to an online learning service. No service can guarantee absolute security; protect your password and devices.
9. Retention
We retain account, learning, payment and certificate records as needed to provide the Service, maintain verification, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements.
10. International processing
Some providers may process data in more than one country, using safeguards consistent with their services and applicable law.
11. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or raise other privacy requests. Many profile fields can be updated in the Service. Contact Support for other requests. We may retain certain payment or certificate records where required.
12. Children and younger learners
Nulvah is not directed at children under 13 without parental or guardian involvement. Contact Support if you believe information was collected from a child inappropriately.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date will change when we publish revisions.
